Jesus The Stranger: A Daily Lenten Reader
About the Book
This 40-entry series begins on Ash Wednesday and ends officially on Holy Saturday before Easter (Sundays are feast days and excluded from the 40 days of Lent). However, there are two bonus entries which will carry the reader through Easter Monday, for a grand total of 42 entries.
We invite you to walk with Jesus and see him in a new way during this season of Lent. Jesus the Stranger: A Daily Lenten Reader leads us on this journey, offering a fresh lens through which to see Christ. Focusing on his humanity—especially his experiences of suffering, rejection, and isolation—this Lenten reader helps us relate our own struggles and humanness to his. As we journey with Jesus toward the cross, we are met by our Savior, who lived and fully understands our pain and sorrow—who offers healing, the healing of holy love. This forty-day reader is perfect for personal reflection or small group study during the Lenten season.
